Kai's JournalWednesday, May 12, 20046:26PM - Wedding planningJust figured on my day one day off this week I would actually relax and just sit and do nothing all day.... was a nice thought. I am loving the whole wedding thing, but wow, there's so much that has to be done... and with a Preggo Maid of honor with no car and no time to help out, and all family in another state, it's all me. In between my 2 1/2 jobs. And wow am I tired. On the upside, I have a lot of things done. But now the ceremony site has sent me an email saying the place I wanted it, can't be used. But I can pay $1000 bux and have it at an altenate spot on the grounds!!! What the hell! I thought having it at a park would be so much easier... guess not. So now the search for a new ceremony site is on, anyone have any ideas let me know. Cox Arboretum and Carillon Park are out. The Reception site is at Mandalay Banquet center (Moriane) and I am trying to keep it as near to there as possible, so yellow springs area is out too. Eh, I'll post more on the wedding as I go and once I get definates I'll post so I can find out people's addresses. Ok, thats it for now... Thursday, January 29, 20042:56PM - AbsenceJust a note to basically keep Lj going until I get my computer back... for those of you who do not know my house was broken into while I was on vacation to the gothcruise and we're still playing telephone tag with the insurance co and the police dept and everyone else it seems... hopefully I'll be able to get back online and post to the groups more in the near future. Take care all, Kai Monday, July 21, 20033:28PM - Been AwhileJust updating my journal since it's been awhile since I have even logged onto this site. Since I don't really have a computer of my own right now it's hard to get online anymore. On the up side I may be getting my own place soon and then I'll be able to get back online fairly often. I'll write more on that when I find out some definate things. I'm meeting with a loan officer and a lawyer tomorrow so hopefully all goes well. =) Wednesday, April 16, 20031:11AMhttp://www.liquidgeneration.com/quiz/im Monday, April 7, 20033:54AM - for our own goodMy mom just sent me this thing in email and I had to share it with you guys... it's really cute and was very nostalgic for me. Saturday, March 22, 20032:54AM - Ice Cream TrucksOh my god, this damn thing has been out here for the past 15 minutes... and it has the absolute most annoying little diddy.. but I give it credit. It works. You hear it long enough and damned if you dont get the urge for an overpriced ice cream bar thats only half frozen. Geez, I am such a sucker. 1:44AM - Late with the monkey bitEh, a bit behind, but here's my monkey! Yay for Lemurs. 12:44AM - Because I'm bored1. What was your most memorable moment from the last week? Current mood: 12:12AM - Caution! Rant forthcoming.Seeing that everyone already has all their DAE weekend recaps and everything, I think I'll spare everyone all the details and just say that it was really f*cking awesome. I had a great time starting out on Thursday in Indianapolis. Friday DAE was excellent of course, and the flesh pull was better than I could have ever imagined. Saturday I ended up going to Columbus and hung out for a bit. Ed fixed me Jake and Mike some really good omeletes! Sunday I slept and worked, and on Monday I had a really wonderful relaxing but fun evening in Cincinnati. On the upside, I picked up my book from the printers on Monday. For the most par I am completely pleased. It's going to be for sale Friday and it ended up being $7.50 /book so bring some extra non-alcohol money and support my broke ass! umm, please. =) Other than that, now I have to get all my shite together and start cleaning my house from top to bottom. I've got friends comming in from Illinois, Missouri, and Indiana for DAE and they'll be staying with me all weekend probably. yay! It's gonna be fun. I can't wait. Well... I'm probably going out to fusion tonight if I can get a ride... so I'll probably see some of you there... Current mood: Current music: Evanescence- Tourniquet Saturday, March 1, 20038:04PM - Georgia on my mind...ok, that was overdoing it just a bit... but anyway, I made it to Georgia.... NO SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahahahhahaha suckers! lol. Well, it's not THAT warm, but I didn't even need a jacket when I got off the plane. Actually got some good sleep too. Well, going out tonight to the chamber probably tonight. See you guys when I get back. Current mood: Current music: ahhhh... NONE! eep. Friday, February 28, 20035:25PM - O.OUmmm, this is just slightly frightening... I mean, I know it's an internet test and all, but geez.... Maybe NOW I know why out of nowhere my shrink wrote me a letter saying he was closing my file. *laughs*
4:47PM - A sappy moment of reflectionIt's trying times when you really find out who your friends are. It's funny sometimes. People you may talk to only once a week (or less than that), can turn out to be real true friends. Just because you may not spend much time with a person, or even really truly 'know' them, doesn't mean they can't be some of the most sincere friends you have. I think too many people put emphasis on the whole around you 24/7, known you since kindergarten friends. It's been my experience that, while yes they may have known you a long time, it doesn't mean that they really care about you. In the past year of my life I have met some of the most sincere and true people of my entire life. So what if they don't know EVERYTHING about me. So what if they didn't grow up and go to the same school I did for my entire life. These people have been there for me when I needed them, and while I wont go into name details, I just wanted to say a thank you for all the true friends I have made over the past year or two. I hope that I can repay some of you/them for all the kindness you've shown me. And I hope that At least some of you/them, think of me as a true friend also.... ok,enough sappy stuff.... Just had to get it out. =) Current mood: Current music: Hungry Lucy- Rebirth Monday, February 24, 20031:48AM - Atlanta Clubs?????Anyone know of any good clubs in or not too far from Atlanta? I'm gong to be down there this weekend visiting a friend for his 21st, and I wanted to take him to a decent club that I can have fun at too while he's getting drunk. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Current mood: tired and cranky Current music: Doll Factory- nettle Wednesday, February 19, 20031:36AM - Just wrong, but I suppose, it's right.
Tuesday, February 18, 2003Monday, February 17, 20031:18PM - Hippies, Whips, and SNOW!Of all days I thought I would hate being single... V-day actually turned out to be pretty awesome. I spent it with good friends up in Columbus (despite the crap load of snow), and ended up meeting other friends and going to an after-hours hippie get together! One of the better valentines days that I've had. It was most amusing. A good portion of the people there had just come from a fetish ball so everyone had out the whips, crops, and various other fetish equipment. I was wearing my new red vinyl top I got for 10 bux and a little black skirt that Current mood: Current music: VNV Nation -Beloved Tuesday, February 11, 200311:52PM - HmmmmmWell, while I'm not really feeling better, I'm not really doing an worse... It's amazing what a few hours of rest and a monkey on your head can do for your mood... And yes, I did just say "and a monkey on your head". Everyone needs a bit of monkey therapy every now and then. ;) Current mood: Current music: Sarah Mclaughlin- Angel Navigate: (Previous 20 entries) |
